The foundation stage is the first part of the National Curriculum, focusing on the distinct needs of children aged three to the end of the reception year in primary school. The foundation stage curriculum is organised into six areas of learning;
The Early Learning Goals.
- Personal, Social and Emotional
- Communication, Language and Literacy
- Mathematical
- Knowledge and Understanding
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
All our activities are well planned and evaluated in accordance to the early learning goals. We provide opportunities for your child to discover, question, experience, find out, explore, imagine, experiment etc, while playing, helping them make good progress towards the learning goals.
Good planning is the key to making children's learning effective, exciting, varied and progressive and helps us to build up knowledge of how your child learns and makes progress. All our plans are displayed for parents to view.
